Afternoons are yours: a hike on the Allegheny Front Trail, a book in the reading room, or simply watching the light move across the valley from the wraparound porch. Evenings close with a fire in the common room and nothing on the schedule but whatever you want to make of it.

Manns Choice sits on the ridge where the Appalachian Trail runs close by — a quiet crossroads between the Laurel Highlands and the Juniata Valley. State Game Lands 35 is a ten-minute drive; downtown Ligonier, with its antique shops and cider mill, is twenty.
